The Interstate Television and Radio Company Mir was established in 1992 with the goal of highlighting the political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, forming a common information space and facilitating the international exchange of information.

The co-founders of the Company are the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Today MTRK Mir is the MIR, MIR 24, MIR PREMIUM, MIR Radio, the www.mir24.tv information portal, and the MIR-Teleport multifunctional satellite system.

The MIR TV channel introduces viewers to modern life and the history of the countries of the former Soviet Union. The channel is broadcast around the clock in four time zones in 13 countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia). The potential audience is 16 million people.

The radio station "MIR" broadcasts in Adult Contemporary format. Every hour on-air exclusive news from our own correspondents in the CIS countries. The basis of music policy is the most popular and favorite songs of the 90-2000s in Russian.

Radio MIR is broadcast on the territory of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. The potential audience of FM broadcasting is 44.43 million people.
